Funding Description

The School Improvement Grant (SIG) provides funding to help local educational agencies (LEAs) address the needs of schools identified for improvement.

Eligible Applicants	Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria	LEAs with schools identified as being among the 5 percent of persistently lowest-achieving schools are eligible to apply for this funding.
