Funding Description

Using the Education for Homeless Children and Youth (EHCY) Program funding that is earmarked for statewide activities, the intent of this funding is to implement some of the new provisions within the Every Student Succeeds Act. County offices will use these funds for countywide activities, such as professional development and technical assistance to all local homeless liaisons that are required to identify and meet the needs of homeless children and youth.
