Title III Technical Assistance for Improvement Agreement


Funding Description

Pursuant to statutory requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and in this transition year to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), funding is given to one lead county office of education within each region for the purpose of guiding local educational agencies (LEAs) through specific LEA plan development requirements to ensure success in meeting Title III requirements.

Required Eligibility Criteria Eleven selected county offices of education will function as lead agencies within the State Superintendent of Public Instruction's eleven regions, providing technical assistance to LEAs on Title III plan requirements.
