Assessment System Independent Evaluation Study

Funding Description
The purpose of the funding is to implement an independent alignment study of California’s assessments that are used to calculate Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) for NCLB Title I accountability and that will provide information to allow the department to develop aligned descriptions of the content-based competencies associated with each achievement level.Eligibility
