The Federal Public Charter Schools Grant Program (PCSGP) is a discretionary grant program administered by the Charter Schools Division. Grant applications are reviewed by peer evaluators and are awarded to nonprofit entities and local educational agencies to assist in the development of high-quality charter schools.

Public Charter Schools Grant Program Planning and Implementation Grant

The Federal Public Charter Schools Grant Program (PCSGP) is a discretionary grant program administered by the Charter Schools Division. Grant applications are reviewed by peer evaluators and are awarded to nonprofit entities and local educational agencies to assist in the development to open high-quality charter schools. The primary focus of the PCSGP is to create charter schools that will provide public school choice to students whose assigned traditional public school is chronically low performing.

Public Charter Schools Grant Program Webinar

Required as a condition prior to receiving funds. Applicants will need to download, read, and file (in their school files) the General Assurances and Conditions document. This document is to be kept on file for compliance reviews complaint investigations, or audits.
