The Federal Public Charter Schools Grant Program (PCSGP) is a discretionary grant program administered by the Charter Schools Division. Grant applications are reviewed by peer evaluators and are awarded to high quality charter schools for dissemination activities of best practices used in their schools. The dissemination sub-grant program is focused on closing the achievement gaps, and ensuring student academic success in state and national academic standards.

The primary focus of the PCSGP is to create high quality charter schools that will provide public school choice to students. Dissemination sub-grants may be used for dissemination best practices focused on closing achievement gaps, and ensuring student academic success in state academic standards. Expansion sub-grants may be used by high quality charter schools to support the signifcant increase in enrollment or addition of one or more grade levels served.

Applicants will need to download, read, and file (in their school files) the General Assurances and Conditions document. This document is to be kept on file for compliance reviews complaint investigations, or audits.|
