Title III Language Instruction for English Learners

Funding is made available to eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide supplementary programs and services to English learner (EL) students, known as English learners. The purpose of the subgrants is to assist EL students to acquire English and meet grade-level achievement and graduation goals. Note: Recipients and funding amounts are subject to budget and administrative adjustments. Late applicants will be funded based on availability of funds.

Schedule of the Preliminary Entitlements and Eligibility, FY 2018–19 (Available Spring 2018)
This link provides the preliminary eligibility earmarks for application for funding via Consolidated Application Reporting System (CARS) or Consortium Online Application (COA).

Direct Funded Supplemental Application for New and Expanding Charter Schools, FY 2018–19 (Available Fall 2018)
Read the e-mail notification of preliminary identification as direct-funded eligible for new and expanding charter schools.
Funding Application Instructions and Guidance
Direct-funded eligible LEAs must complete the CARS application to receive funding.
