Title III Immigrant Student Program, Fiscal Year 2019-20


Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

Funding is made available to eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide supplementary programs and services to eligible immigrant students. The purpose of the subgrants is to assist immigrant students to acquire English and meet grade-level achievement and graduation goals. Note: Recipients and funding amounts are subject to budget and administrative adjustments.

Direct-funded Application for New and Expanding Charter Schools, FY 2019–20
Email notification of preliminary identification as direct-funded eligible for new and expanding charter schools.
Funding Application Instructions and Guidance
Direct funded eligible LEAs must complete the CARS application to receive funding.

Private School Eligibility List, FY 2019–20
Listing of LEAs with private schools that are eligible to request to participate in the FY 2018–19 Title III Immigrant Students Program Subgrant.
Immigrant Program Participation Letter Requesting LEAs to Participate FY 2019–20 Letter to LEAs, with one or more private schools, notifying to accept or decline participation in the Title III Immigrant Education Student Subgrant Program.
Student Nation Origin Report (SNOR) Submission - Private School Directors Letter to Select Private School Directors providing instructions for submission of their SNOR.
