Migrant Education Student Information Exchange (MSIX) Data Quality Grant

Pursuant to the No Child Left Behind Act, Title I, Part C, the purpose of the Migrant Education Program ensures that all migrant students meet the challenging state academic standards. Funding through the application process supports 20 subgrantees to obtain state, local MSIX and other data-related training. Funds are determined using an approved CDE funding formula.

Document Description
Application is to be completed and submitted online by a Migrant Education Program subgrantee (region or direct-funded district).
Budget Pages (XLS)
Budget forms to be completed and submitted via mail.
Final Expenditure Report (XLS) Final expenditure report is to be completed and submitted via mail. Supporting documents of training dates, agenda, and lists of local attendees are to be attached to the expenditure report.

Required as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants need to sign and return them with the application; they must also be kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits.
