Guidance for NSLP Application or Alternative Form


This information provides local educational agencies (LEAs) with School Year 2021−22 guidance regarding the use of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) application or the alternative household income form to collect data used for funding allocations and Pandemic-Electronic Benefits Transfer eligibility, while operating the Seamless Summer Feeding Option (SSO).

The California Department of Education (CDE), provided a letter that contains guidance and supplemental information about the collection of NSLP applications and alternative household income forms. The CDE letter is available on the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) communications website.
