ISNPA Webinar: Meal Counting and Claiming – Part 2


We are pleased to announce the next webinar in the Introduction to School Nutrition Program Administration (ISNPA) webinar series for local school nutrition directors, managers, and nutrition staff.

Introduction to SNPA – Meal Counting and Claiming - Part 2 will be offered on September 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Registration information is below. This training will address:

  • Eligibility Documentation
  • Collection Procedures
  • Point of Service Meal Counts
  • Standard Claiming and Alternate Claiming Methods
  • Claim for Reimbursement
  • Recordkeeping

Background

The ISNPA trainings are intended to support implementation of the Universal Meals Program and to orient school nutrition staff to the processes and policies of the Child Nutrition Programs (CNPs) administered by the California Department of Education.

The monthly ISNPA webinars are scheduled for 90 minutes and will begin at 2 pm on the date listed, unless otherwise noted. Each training in the series will include: an overview of a specific program topic, highlights of relevant resources, and applicable federal and state regulations.

The webinar trainings are free to attend. Register in advance for this webinarExternal link opens in new window or tab..

After registering, you will see a screen that says Webinar Registration Approved with a link to the webinar. You will also receive several emails with information about joining the webinar. First, you will receive confirmation the day you register and then you will receive two reminder emails: one day and one hour prior to the webinar. If for some reason you cannot find the email confirmation, or do not receive the reminders, you can always reregister.

Tip for Attendees

To save time before the meeting, check your system to make sure it is ready to use Zoom.

If for some reason you receive an error message that the host has declined your webinar registration, try using an alternate email address. While not ideal, you may also join by phone if you have technical issues logging in from your computer.
