ISNPA Webinar: Resource Management
Dear School Nutrition Program Operators:
We are pleased to announce the next webinar in the Introduction to School Nutrition Program Administration (ISNPA) webinar series for local school nutrition directors, managers, and nutrition staff.
Resource Management training will be offered on July 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Registration information is below. This training will provide an overview of:
- Nonprofit School Food Service Account (cafeteria fund) governing regulations and policies
- Maintenance of the cafeteria fund
- Paid lunch equity
- Revenue from nonprogram foods
- Indirect costs
Background
The ISNPA trainings are intended to support implementation of the Universal Meals Program and to orient school nutrition staff to the processes and policies of the Child Nutrition Programs (CNPs) administered by the California Department of Education.
The monthly ISNPA webinars are scheduled for 90 minutes and begin at 2:00 p.m. on the date listed, unless otherwise noted. Each training in the series will include an overview of a specific program topic, highlights of relevant resources, and applicable federal and state regulations. Other upcoming trainings include:

After registering, you will see a screen that says Webinar Registration Approved with a link to the webinar. You will also receive several emails with information about joining the webinar. First, you will receive confirmation the day you register and then you will receive two reminder emails: one day and one hour prior to the webinar. If for some reason you cannot find the email confirmation, or do not receive the reminders, you can always reregister.
