Fluid Milk and Fluid Milk Substitutions for CACFP


Management Bulletin (MB) CACFP-02-2020: Nutrition Requirements for Fluid Milk and Fluid Milk Substitutions in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), is available on the California Department of Education Nutrition Services CACFP MB web page.

This MB supersedes MB CACFP-09-2017 (September 2017) and updates guidance on the nutrient requirements for a fluid milk substitution to assist CACFP Operators with determining a creditable fluid milk substitution. This MB also provides existing requirements for Fluid Milk and Fluid Milk Substitutions in the CACFP.
