The California Department of Education (CDE) Nutrition Services Division is excited to announce that phase two of the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) process in California begins today, May 22, 2020. Families with children who are eligible for Free or Reduced-Price meals that have not yet received a P-EBT card in the mail, can now apply for P-EBT benefits online on the Apply for P-EBT web page External link opens in new window or tab..

The CDE and CDSS will host a P-EBT Phase Two Education Partners webinar on Wednesday, May 27 from 10 – 11am. During the webinar, we will walk through the online application, review the phase two outreach toolkit, and answer questions from attendees.
