Public Safety Power Shutoff Event October 14, 2020
Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) has announced that public safety power shutoffs are under consideration due to extreme weather and fire danger. If these conditions persist, PG&E may need to turn off power to local customers for safety.
PG&E has reported that the potential public safety power shutoff could affect 21 Counties.
The following Counties could be affected:
- Contra Costa
- El Dorado
- San Mateo
- Santa Clara
- Santa Cruz
