School Nutrition Success Workshops December 2019
Are you a new food service director (FSD)? Do you enjoy peer-based learning and networking with other FSDs? Would you like to gain new ideas for operating your meal program? If you answered yes to any of these questions, register today to participate in a Team Up for School Nutrition Success (Team Up) workshop.
The Team Up one-day workshops are a unique learning experience in which FSDs learn from the best practices of more experienced FSDs administering successful meal programs. The workshops are designed to optimize the opportunity for participants to network and share ideas for overcoming the challenges of implementing a School Nutrition Program. The workshops consist of panel presentations of creative solutions for serving quality meals and increasing meal participation. In addition, breakout sessions allow the opportunity for peer-to-peer mentorship to assist participants in identifying issues and generating ideas for improving operations of their programs.
The target audience for this course includes FSDs, assistant FSDs, or anyone performing the job duties of an FSD. The number of participants for these workshops is limited to one staff person per agency.
