Supports, promotes, and authorizes high quality charter schools that improve achievement and choice for California public schools and families.
Educator Excellence & Equity Division
Provides direction and resources to support educators to increase their content knowledge and the effectiveness of their instructional support strategies to meet the unique needs of every student, including English learners, to ensure high academic achievement.
Equity & STEAM Office
State Special Schools & Services Division
Provides services to deaf, hard of hearing, blind and visually impaired students in addition to offering local educational agency (LEA) special education programs with assessment services, technical assistance and staff development.
