State Advisory Council on Early Learning and Care

The State Advisory Council on Early Learning and Care (SAC) is a governor-appointed leadership body that ensures statewide collaboration among early childhood programs that will help to define future policy for children birth to kindergarten.

The State Advisory Council (SAC) on Early Learning and Care will make recommendations on the future policy direction for early learning and related services for young children in California. The SAC chair is Mark Friedman. Stakeholders in early learning and members of the public are invited to participate in the upcoming meetings of the SAC.
