CDMIS Update #24
Child Development Management Information System (CDMIS)
March 20, 2019
Video tutorials on select CDMIS functions are now available on the CDMIS Snapshot Tutorials web page! Abbreviated training videos addressing the following functions are currently available for reference:
- Managing user access
- Updating agency information
- Reporting “No Services”
The video tutorials are also accessible via the resource table on the main CDMIS Support web page. Additional snapshot tutorials will be announced in future CDMIS Updates.
Effective as of the December 2018 reporting period, CDD-801A reports will lock 90 days after the initial report due date, as opposed to 60 days after the initial report due date. This provides agencies additional time to review and update information submitted in the CDD-801A report.
The CDD-801 Report Schedule web page now includes the CDD-801B sample and due date schedule. Report schedules for both the CDD-801A and CDD-801B reports for fiscal year 2018-19 are currently available.
This is a reminder for agencies with programs that will be closed for at least one complete month during the summer to indicate that no CDD-801A reports will be submitted by utilizing the “No Services” function available on the CDMIS Main Menu. If agencies have an Early Learning and Care Division (ELCD) contract but do not provide any services in a given month, “No Services” must be reported. Failure to report “No Services” (if applicable) could result in the withholding of apportionments.
After gathering feedback from webinar participants, the CDMIS “No Services” web page has been updated to allow agencies to indicate “No Services” up to three fiscal years in advance. A video tutorial demonstrating how to access the updated CDMIS “No Services” function is currently available on the CDMIS Snapshot Tutorials web page.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the CDMIS 801 Reporting Webinar on Thursday, March 14, 2019! Materials referenced during this webinar are available on the CDMIS 801 Reporting Webinar web page. Frequently asked questions from this webinar will be posted to the Data Reporting -- Frequently Asked Questions web page, shortly.
Users are encouraged to take the CDMIS General Feedback Survey to submit feedback of the CDMIS and/or the CDMIS 801 Reporting Webinar. This survey is available for users to provide feedback on the CDMIS experience and suggest system improvements. It contains 11 questions and should take approximately 12 minutes to complete a single session.
