Dear Select County and District Superintendents and Charter School Administrators:

Title III Immigrant Student Program Annual Online Survey

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act, requires each Title III Immigrant Student Program subgrantee to accept certain assurances, including the requirement to make reports as necessary to enable the state agency to perform its duties. To facilitate this reporting, the California Department of Education (CDE) has created an online report to collect specific program data. This data will inform the report submitted to U.S. Department of Education as required. The online reporting system will be available to your local educational agency (LEA) from August 24, 2022, through October 15, 2022.

The report consists of two questions regarding the Title III-funded activities in which immigrant students in your LEA participated during the 2021–22 school year. The director or administrator who oversees the LEA’s Title III immigrant student services should complete this survey.

You will find the online report on the CDE Title III Immigrant Student Program Annual Online Report web page at http://www2.cde.ca.gov/title3edprogram/immlogon.aspx. To access the report, a personal identification number (PIN) is required. The PIN will be sent in a separate email following this letter.

If you have any questions regarding this subject, please contact Cristina Echols Gollas, Associate Governmental Program Analyst, Division Support Office, by phone at 916-323-5124 or by email at TitleIIISurvey@cde.ca.gov.

Sincerely,

/s/
