Dear Select County and District Superintendents and Charter School Administrators:

Title III Immigrant Student Program Annual Survey

As a condition of receiving funding, each Title III Immigrant Student Program subgrantee accepts certain assurances, including the requirement to make reports as necessary to enable the state agency to perform its duties. The California Department of Education (CDE) has created an online survey to collect data which it is required to report to the U.S. Department of Education. The online survey will be available from August 10, 2020, through September 18, 2020.

The survey consists of two questions which relate to the participation of immigrant students in Title III-funded activities in your local educational agency during the 2019–20 school year. The director of immigrant student services in your agency should complete this survey.

You will find the online survey on the CDE Title III Immigrant Student Program Annual Survey web page at In order to access the survey, you will need a personal identification number (PIN). Your PIN will be emailed to you at the same time as this letter.
