High School Science Test Administration: Flyer Available!
Do you administer the California Science Test or the California Alternate Assessment for Science in high school? If so, be sure to check out the useful Science Test Administration for High School Students flyer(PDF)! This flyer provides information to help local educational agencies (LEAs) determine whom to test in high school and plan the administration of these tests. Be prepared for the various science testing scenarios you may encounter at the high school level this school year!
ELPAC Reset Appeals
The ELPAC contractor, ETS, has been receiving a number of Security and Test Administration Incident Reporting System (STAIRS) cases requesting Reset Appeals for students who have started or completed Summative ELPAC testing but have already been reclassified. While reclassification updates will remove the Summative ELPAC test eligibility for these students, it takes up to 48 hours for the update to be reflected in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS) and the student testing interface. To ensure these students are not tested inadvertently, it is critical that LEA’s update the English Language Acquisition Status in the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System once a student meets the LEA’s reclassification criteria.
