The Back-to-School Toolkit includes resources for school site administrators to use when talking to educators and parents at back-to-school activities. These resources focus on the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System, but also include resources for the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC).

Overview of CAASPP System and Results (PPTX) – A customizable PowerPoint presentation designed to help site administrators discuss the CAASPP System and the most recent results with parents and other stakeholders.
CAASPP Resources for Parent (PDF) – A flyer that provides information about where parents can go to learn more about the CAASPP System and better understand their student's most recent score report.
Parent Guides to Understanding – These guides provide parents with answers to key questions about the what, why, who, how, and when and are available for each assessment program.
