Fall ELPAC New Coordinator Trainings—Register Now
The continuing 2021–22 New Coordinator Training—Fall ELPAC sessions will take place in November! This training is for all local educational agency (LEA) ELPAC coordinators who are new to their role or want a refresher. Hosted by county offices of education throughout the state, this ELPAC training will:
- Review the tasks associated with preparing for testing.
- Cover how to support sites during testing.
- Assist participants in planning for post-test activities such as gathering feedback from site coordinators and test administrators.

Making Elementary Science Sizzle with Tools for Teachers—Shared Practices Webinar
The California Department of Education (CDE) invites you to attend the next webinar in the Tools for Teachers Webinar Series—Making Elementary Science Sizzle with Tools for Teachers. This one-hour webinar for all LEA staff, including administrators and classroom educators, will be held on November 9 starting at 3:30 p.m.
In this third webinar of the Tools for Teachers Webinar Series, members of the CDE along with three special guests will highlight the new elementary instructional resources for science that are now available in Tools for Teachers. With these easy-to-use resources, your elementary science lessons will really sizzle! Hear first-hand from the California educators who developed the lessons as they share best practices for science instruction aligned with the California Next Generations Science Standards. A Question & Answer session will be included.
