LEA Access to Smarter Balanced Aggregate Area/Claim Results
Due to the reduced number of test questions associated with the Smarter Balanced adjusted test form, individual student area/claim results are not reported on the Student Score Report or to local educational agencies (LEAs). The Test Results for California’s Assessments website
is the sole source for aggregate area/claim results for student groups of 30 or more for 2020–21 and 2021–22. Aggregate area/claim results for the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for English language arts/literacy and mathematics are not available in the California Educator Reporting System for 2020–21 and 2021–22.
LEA coordinators have access to 2021–22 aggregate claim results as part of an embargoed LEA preview. LEAs may share the results from the preview with their school board and staff for local planning purposes. The public release of 2021–22 results is scheduled to occur later this year in conjunction with the release of the California School Dashboard.
