SkillsUSA California is a career technical student organization serving middle school, high school, and post-secondary students who are enrolled in instructional programs preparing them for technical, skilled, and service careers. SkillsUSA California is a business, industry, and education partnership developed to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible American citizens. Instruction is aligned to business and industry standards and develops students in three primary areas; personal skills, workplace skills, and technical skills grounded in academics. The California Department of Education provides staff responsible for program administration, operations, and instruction implementation, as well as regional, state, and national conference coordination and administration.
