Funding Description

The Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Capacity Building Provider Grant will provide support and guidance to local TUPE-funded programs focusing on preventing and reducing the use of tobacco products by school-aged youth.

Required Eligibility Criteria Applicants must read and understand this entire RFA and consider all requirements for eligibility and program requirements prior to submitting an application.
Other Eligibility Considerations Only county offices of education are eligible to apply under this grant.

Funding

Legal Authority Proposition 56, in accordance with California Health and Safety Code (HSC) Section 104420, for the purpose of eliminating tobacco-related disparities (California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 30130.55[b][2] Healthcare, Research and Prevention Tobacco Tax Act of 2016, Distribution of Revenue).
