Funding Description

The Environmental Education Grant Program (EEGP) provides grants to support programs that will result in long-term educational benefits to California educators and students. The EEGP plays a vital role in connecting California educators with professional development and information about high-quality, standards-based environmental education programs. Three Environmental Literacy Projects will be funded for one year. Projects may be funded for up to an additional two years based on project success.

Required Eligibility Criteria Only California County Offices of Education or County Superintendents of Schools are eligible to apply as the lead agency of the partnership.
