Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program Technical Assistance Project


Funding Description

California Education Code Sections 42920-42926 established the Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (FYSCP) to coordinate and ensure that local educational agencies within its jurisdiction are providing services to foster youth pupils with the purpose of creating positive educational outcomes.

Required Eligibility Criteria The Technical Provider for the Foster Youth Coordinating Program (FYSCP) must demonstrate expertise with the FYSCP and continuous improvement; ability to foster collaboration among county agencies through interagency agreements which address school stability and information sharing; capacity and willingness to support data gathering and analysis processes; and the ability to support online meetings and resources sharing.
