Dear Heritage School Owner:

2024 Heritage School Payment Reminder Notice

This notice is to remind heritage school owners who completed an online Heritage School registration form, but have not submitted the required payment,to pay the 2024 Heritage School fee ($250). Heritage School registration requirements are per California Education Code Section 33195.

NOTE: If you have already paid your 2024 fee or no longer plan to operate a Heritage School in California, please disregard this notice.

If you plan on operating a heritage school during 2024, you will need to complete your Heritage School registration with the California Department of Education (CDE), otherwise, your school will be subject to California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Child Care Licensing for 2024.

You can print your payment voucher from your confirmation email received after registering your school or schools. A payment voucher and fee are required for each registered heritage school location.

After receipt and processing of payment vouchers, heritage schools will be included in the directory of heritage schools, which is available on the CDE Heritage School Registration Form Search web page at https://www3.cde.ca.gov/hsrs/search.
