Waiver Calendar

Calendar dates for the State Board of Education meetings.

The following is the schedule of the California State Board of Education Meetings for 2023 and 2024. A waiver request normally takes approximately ten to twelve weeks to analyze and process. Submission of an incomplete waiver request will delay the analysis and processing of the waiver request.

2023 Meeting Dates

  • January 19-20, 2023 (Note: This is a Thursday-Friday meeting)
  • March 8-9, 2023
  • May 18-19, 2023 (Note: This is a Thursday-Friday meeting) REVISED
  • July 12-13, 2023
  • September 13-14, 2023
  • November 8-9, 2023

2024 Meeting Dates

  • January 18-19, 2024 (Note: This is a Thursday-Friday meeting)
  • March 6-7, 2024
  • May 8-9, 2024
  • July 10-11, 2024
  • September 11-12, 2024
  • November 13-14, 2024
