The school's proportion of students excused at parent request
compared to its Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR)
program enrollment on the first day of testing is equal to
or greater than 10 percent.
When a school's proportion of parental waivers is equal to or greater than 10 but less than 20 percent, the California Department of Education (CDE) conducts standard statistical tests to check whether the pupils tested at the school were representative of the entire school's population. This school failed the statistical test or its proportion of parental waivers in 2010 was 20 percent or greater, therefore, the school does not have a valid 2010 API Base. |
2 |
This school (or the district on behalf of the school) has
certified to the CDE that an
irregularity in testing procedure occurred during the Spring
2010 STAR testing affecting 5 percent or more of pupils tested.
Therefore, a 2010 API Base is not reported for this school. |
3 |
2010 Base API cannot be reported because for at least one STAR content area used in API calculations, this school failed to test a significant portion of students who were not exempt from testing in 2010. |
4 |
In 2010, this school had fewer than 11 valid STAR test scores. |
5 |
2010 Base API is not reported for this school because the CDE is currently reviewing the 2010 STAR or CAHSEE results. The CDE will either publish the API for this school or provide a specific reason for invalidating the API when the investigation is complete. |
6 |
School has California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) results but no valid STAR results. |
7 |
The California Department of Education has received information which indicates that the integrity of this school's API has been compromised. Therefore, a 2010 Base API will not be reported for this school. |
