New Coordinator Training Webinar #5—Preparing to Receive Scores

Calling all local educational agency (LEA) CAASPP and ELPAC coordinators who are new to their role or want a refresher! The fifth New Coordinator Webinar of the 2022–23 series will take place on April 20, 2023, from 3 to 4 p.m. This webinar will take a deep dive into monitoring student assessment completion status and preparing to receive assessment scores.

2023 California Assessment Conference – Save the Date

Save the date for the in-person 2023 California Assessment Conference (CAC) on October 9–10, 2023 in Sacramento, California. Under the theme of Charting the Course Between Instruction and Assessment, the 2023 CAC is a unique opportunity for classroom educators to explore the connections between classroom instruction and assessment and learn how other California educators use assessments as informative tools and provide strategies to enhance teaching and learning.

Reminder to Complete ELPAC Certification Courses in Moodle

LEA coordinators or designees who have not yet completed the required annual LEA certification courses for the Summative ELPAC and Summative Alternate ELPAC should access and complete these courses in the Moodle Training Site . It is critical that LEA staff complete these courses, so they are prepared to train their test examiners as the test administration window opened on February 1, 2023. Training must be completed by all LEAs for the Summative ELPAC and by LEAs with eligible students only for the Summative Alternate ELPAC. Moodle keys are available on the Administration and Scoring Training website. Questions about training may be directed to Moodle Support at moodlesupport@scoe.net.
