The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a Federally funded program that provides funding to local nonprofit agencies that provide supplemental nutritious U.S. Department of Agriculture Foods to low-income pregnant and breast feeding women, infants, children up to age six, and elderly people at least 60 years of age. Each local agency’s allocation is based on the number of caseload within their service region.

| Allocation Formula | Each local nonprofit agency’s allocation is based on the number of caseload within their service region. The apportionment to each agency will be paid either monthly or quarterly or upon submission of a reimbursement claim. Administrative funding is also allocated to the State of California in support of the CSFP. |
