Arts and Music Block Grant

Funding supports standards-aligned arts (which includes dance, theatre and visual arts) and music instruction in kindergarten through grade twelve. Identified local educational agencies (school districts, county office of education, state special school, direct funded charter schools) may use funding to hire additional staff, implement or increase staff development opportunities, purchase new materials, books, supplies and equipment for dance, music, theatre and/or visual arts.
