Funds are apportioned to county offices of education for fiscal oversight of school districts to be used for activities, including, but not limited to, conducting reviews, examinations, and audits of districts and providing written notifications of the results at least annually by county offices of education on the fiscal solvency of the districts with disapproved budgets, qualified or negative certifications, or districts facing fiscal uncertainty.

| Allocation Formula | The allocation is distributed on the basis of the 2006-07 Annual "Other Purpose" average daily attendance. Participating counties receive a minimum of $0.414992909 per unit of average daily attendance, but not less than $91,504, which is the new base amount. This amount is the previous amount of $84,288 increased by 8.561 percent which reflects the funding increase in the 2007 Budget Act amount from the 2006 Budget Act amount. |
