California Subject Matter Project Technical Assistance and Support Program

Provides funding to the Regents of the University of California, Office of the President (UCOP) for support of the California Subject Matter Project (CSMP) Technical Assistance and Support Program. The CSMP provides high quality professional development for teachers through the eight discipline-based statewide projects in Writing, Reading and Literature, Mathematics, Science, History-Social Science, International Studies, the Arts, and Foreign Language.

Eligible Applicants	Institutions of higher education
Required Eligibility Criteria	Funding is only available for the Regents of the University of California, Office of the President for support of the California Subject Matter Project Technical Assistance and Support Program. The federal Title II, Part A funding is required to be transferred to the Regents of the University of California, Office of the President by mandate of the 2008-09 State Budget Act.
