Quality Education Investment Act-County Office of Education Oversight


Funding Description

Funding is allocated to county superintendents of schools to carry out the oversight requirements of the Quality Education Investment Act.

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria School Districts that have been selected for QEIA funding based on their eligible public schools and charter schools will generate oversight funds for the COEs.

Allocation Formula COEs will receive funding for eligible schools in the amount of $2,500 per elementary; $3,500 per junior high or middle; and $5,000 per high school. In addition, a COE may receive additional funding for sites whose enrollment exceeds a specified threshold. The minimum allocation is $10,000 per COE.
