| Required Eligibility Criteria |
To receive the first 50 percent of these one-time funds no additional assurance requirements are necessary because CDE accepts the assurances the local education agencies (LEAs) provided in the 2008-09 consolidated and local plan applications. To receive the second 50 percent of these funds, CDE will verify that the LEA has submitted 2009-10 consolidated and local plan applications that contain assurances to the state education agency that is consistent with federal and state laws and regulations. |

Districts must account for funds as expenditures for pupils with an individualized eduation plan (IEP) and for the provision of the special education and related services required by students with disabilities in order to benefit from a public education. |
