Funding for this program is unrestricted pursuant to SBX3 4 (Chapter 12, Statutes of 2009), enacted February 2009. For additional information, please refer to the Action on 2008 and 2009 Budget Acts Web page.
Before 2008-09, funds were restricted to the Advanced Placement (AP) Test Fee Reimbursement Program which supports the payment of AP test fees for eligible students. The program removes the financial barriers that prevent many low-income students in comprehensive high schools from taking the AP course test.
