FCMAT: COE Reimbursement for Extraordinary Cost of Audits

Funding is allocated to the Kern County Office of Education (COE) on behalf of and for the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) in support of its activities. The team assists and advises local educational agencies on their fiscal and administrative management responsibilities. This funding is for FCMAT to reimburse COEs for the extraordinary costs of audits, examinations, and reviews of district budgets in cases where fraud or illegal fiscal practices require county office review.
