Before 2008-09, the funds were restricted to the Bilingual Training Program. It supports districts in preparing teachers in the appropriate methodologies to facilitate instructional services to English learners, kindergarten through grade twelve.

Funding for this program from fiscal years 2009-10 through 2012-13 will be based on 2008-09 funding levels. LEAs will receive the same percentage of the available funding that they received of the funding allocated in 2008-09. |
