Funding Description

Funding for this program is unrestricted pursuant to SBX3 4 (Chapter 12, Statutes of 2009), enacted February 2009. For additional information, please refer to the Action on 2008 and 2009 Budget Acts Web page.

Before 2008-09, the funds were restricted to the Mathematics and Reading Professional Development - English Learners program which allocated funds to local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide professional development in mathematics and reading/language arts for eligible teachers of English learners.
