ARRA Title II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology (Competitive)

The primary goal of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Enhancing Education Through Technology Competitive (EETT C) grant program (2009 through 2011), as implemented in California, is to promote the acquisition, maintenance and use of data to improve college and career readiness or to improve the high school graduation rate.

Eligibility is restricted to local educational agencies (LEAs), i.e. county offices of education (COEs), districts (or a consortium of districts), and direct-funded charter schools, that serve students in grades seven through twelve.

Allocation Formula Funds will be distributed only to LEAs that receive funds under Part A of Title I or to other LEAs that apply as part of a consortium with districts that receive funds under Part A of Title I. The amount of funding an LEA receives is based on its proportionate share of funds to total funds under Part A of Title I.
