California Partnership Academies SB70 Planning Grant

Funding Description
This funding is for planning grants for 2010-11 for schools intending to implement a California Partnership Academy (CPA) in any industry sector in 2011-12 and is contingent on inclusion in the approved State Budget. Funding will be provided through the Governor Technical Education Initiative. The CPAs are effective school / district / business partnerships, providing integrated academic and career technical instruction. The CPA model is a school-within-a-school for students interested in exploring, preparing for careers, and college.Eligibility
