Facility Program Approved Regulations
The Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 established
a state program to provide funding for new construction and modernization
of existing school facilities. The regulations provide guidance
for accessing state bond funds (including those specifically allocated
for construction of charter schools) approved by the voters.
Division
of the State Architect
Information regarding the design of buildings and oversight of
school construction, including the codes and standards that affect

The Education Code sections that relate to the establishment
of a program to allocate funding for the purpose of providing
school facilities for charter school pupils.
For a list of currently active charter schools (From the DataQuest Web page, in the pull-down menu on the left side of the page, select: Level "Other Choices," Subject "Student Demographics/Enrollment," Click "Submit." From the report page at the "Selected School Type," pull down menu, select "Charter," Select the Year, Choose the sort order for the report, Select "Enrollment by Grade," Click "Submit").
NOTE: The information is current as of the date cited at the top of the DataQuest page.
The reported enrollment is the total enrollment for each school and may contain a combination of "Classroom Based Instruction," "Non-classroom Based Instruction," and Independent Study" enrollments. (See Education Code Section 47612.5(d)(1).)
