Title III Data and Data Collection
The California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) is used to collect the number of English learners and the number of Immigrant students. Private schools provide their number of immigrant students on the Student National Origin Report (SNOR). This data includes demographics, forms, and instructions.

Title III LEA Plan Performance Goal 2 Template (DOC) (NEW-April 29, 2016)
The template is available to LEAs to update the 2016-17 plan and budget for Title III LEP and Immigrant programs. The template includes the Improvement Plan Addendum for LEAs in Title III improvement status.

Limited English Proficient (LEP) Student

The LEP program is to ensure English learners in California, attain English proficiency, develop high levels of academic attainment in English, and meet the same challenging state academic standards as all other students.

Immigrant Student

The Immigrant Education Program provides funding to enhance instructional opportunities for immigrant students and their families and ensure that immigrant students meet the same challenging grade level and graduation standards as mainstream students.
