For the 2020–21 through 2023–24 school year, the following postsecondary institutions will accept, for admission purposes, a transcript with a Pass or No Pass grade instead of a letter grade for an applicant pursuant to EC Section 49066.5(b). Grade Change Request Form (PDF)
The form for grade change requests for school year 2020–21 must be filled out and submitted to the appropriate school pursuant to Education Code Section 49066.5 (2)(b).
College Admission Requirements
Students planning to apply to a four-year California public university are required to complete course work that exceeds the state-mandated requirements for high school graduation.
College Readiness Block Grant
Funds for local educational agencies to provide California's high school pupils additional support to increase the number who enroll at institutions of higher education and complete an undergraduate degree within four years.

Advancement Via
Individual Determination (AVID)
College preparatory program for economically disadvantaged and
underachieving students.
Advanced Placement
(AP) Program
A voluntary program that offers access to rigorous, college-level curricula and examinations to high school students.
Early Commitment to College Program
A voluntary program designed
to improve college readiness and college enrollment rates among low income students and among students attending schools with the greatest poverty.
High School Resources
Supports local educational agencies, grades 9–12, to improve student achievement and transition to postsecondary education and careers.
International Baccalaureate
Program
A two-year educational program primarily aimed at high school students ages 16 through 19 that provides internationally accepted qualification for entry into high education and is recognized by many universities world wide.
Intersegmental Coordinating Committee
A policy making and deliberative body that is the
programmatic arm of the
California Education
Round Table.
