Annual Three-Year Federal Fund Expenditure Report
Fiscal Year 2012–13
Pursuant to California Education Code Section 12143(a), the California Department of Education (CDE) is required to submit to the Governor, the Legislature, and the Legislative Analyst's Office an annual three-year expenditure report for federal programs no later than February 15 of each year. This report provides the following information for each of the department’s federally funded programs:
- Actual expenditures for the prior year
- A revised estimate of current year expenditures
- The budget year appropriation
In addition, as required by Section 12143(a), expenditure information for each year is further categorized by type of funded activity: state administration, state level activity, local assistance and, between state budget categories, state operations and local assistance.
