The National Association for the Education of Young Children (Outside Source) Web site provides resources for teachers and parents of young children, information on policies affecting young children, position papers, and links to professional organizations. It also has resources available in Spanish.

The California Kindergarten Association (CKA) (Outside Source) Web site offers research, support, and guidance for kindergarten and first grade teachers.

The Center for the Improvement of Early Reading Achievement (CIERA) (Outside Source) Web site contains research-based materials for educators. It provides a comprehensive listing of links on literacy and education resources available on the Internet.
