The Market Rate Survey of California Child Care Providers will calculate the market rates for child care in each of California's 58 counties. The survey will collect the rates for three age groups, two time categories, two provider types or "care settings" and four reimbursement units. The State will use these rates to establish maximum child care reimbursement for child care services to families in various state and federal subsidized child care programs.

| Required Eligibility Criteria |
Public or private corporations, agencies, organizations or associations may submit proposals in response to this RFP. The applicant must be legally constituted and qualified to do business within the State of California. With the exception of applicants whose legal status precludes incorporation applicants who are not fully incorporated by the deadline for submitting proposals will be disqualified. |
| Other Eligibility Considerations |
Show clear evidence of a minimum of two-years of recent (one of which must be within the last three years of the RFP release date) experience in the development and operation of a large-scale survey and development of statistical tables similar to that described in this RFP. The project director assigned to this project must have at least two years experience in managing similar projects of comparable scope and size. |
